Crystal adds six regional ski routes for winter 2027

Crystal Ski Holidays is expanding its winter 2027 programme with six new regional TUI Airways routes linking UK airports to ski resorts across Europe.

Crystal Ski Holidays is adding six TUI Airways routes from UK regional airports for winter 2027, including Newcastle to Chambéry and Bristol to Kuusamo.

The programme also brings new direct flights from Belfast, Bournemouth and East Midlands to Innsbruck, plus a Newcastle to Toulouse-Blagnac service. Crystal will offer the flights within packages that include accommodation, transfers and assistance at the resorts.

Belfast, Bournemouth and East Midlands flights to Innsbruck will run weekly from 20 December 2027 to 4 March 2028. The flights serve Tyrolean resorts including Mayrhofen, Sölden, Obergurgl and Seefeld.

From Newcastle, weekly flights to Toulouse-Blagnac will operate from 19 December 2027 to 5 March 2028. Crystal is using the route for packages to Soldeu, Pas de la Casa and Arinsal in Andorra, as well as Baqueira-Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Newcastle to Chambéry will run weekly from 21 December 2027 until 1 April 2028. The route feeds Crystal holidays in Méribel, Courchevel, Val d’Isère, Tignes and Les Menuires, giving north-east skiers a direct route into the French Alps.

The Bristol–Kuusamo route is available for winters 2027 and 2028. It will serve Finnish Lapland, including the Ruka area, although Crystal has not published its operating dates or frequency in the announcement.

“Demand for ski holidays is continuing to grow and we know value and convenience are front of mind for customers when they plan their winter break,” Scott Britton, head of Crystal Ski Holidays, said.

“These six new regional flights give holidaymakers more choice from airports closer to home, helping them cut down on extra travel and make the most of their time away.”

Lift passes, equipment hire and ski lessons can be added to the core packages. Prices, baggage allowances and resort transfer times have not yet been published.

Crystal’s expansion follows Jet2.com putting almost 470,000 ski seats on sale for winter 2027/28. That separate programme covers 43 routes from 12 UK airports and also includes Chambéry and Innsbruck among its ski gateways.
